his room

Il ne reste qu’une quinzaine de jours avant l’arrivée d’Armand (gniiii!). Hier, nous avons finalisé la chambre avec la pose d’un papier peint sur le mur attenant à son lit. C’est un papier peint vintage, en vinyle que j’ai trouvé il y a quelques mois chez Emmaüs. Je n’avais qu’un seul rouleau, mais de 10m, ce qu’il est plutôt rare je trouve. On en a donc eu assez pour faire tout le mur. Par choix esthétique, nous avons laissé un cadre blanc autour (comme dans notre ancien salon).
Il ne me reste plus qu’a fixer une étagère pour y exposer quelques jouets anciens chinés pour lui et à terminer la fabrication d’un mobile que j’ai imaginé.

There is only two weeks before Armand’s arrival (gniiii!). Yesterday, we completed the room with the installation of a wallpaper on the wall next to his bed. This paper is a bread vintage vinyl that I found few months ago at Emmaus (charity thrift store). I had only one roll, but of 10m, it is rare. So, we had enough to do the whole wall. By aesthetic choice, we left a white frame around (as in our ex living room).
It remains for me to fix a shelf to exhibit some vintage toys hunting for him and finish the manufacture of a mobile as I imagined.
